Awards and Fellowships
The Jewish Studies Program offers two scholarships to students and one award to faculty.
For Students
- The Ruderman Scholarship is an undergraduate scholarship of $5000/year for incoming freshmen or continuing students who will be majoring or minoring in Jewish Studies.
- The Gideon Klein Award is given yearly for a student to perform and/or study the music or art of artists persecuted by the Nazis during the Holocaust.
For Faculty
- The Stotsky Professorship in Jewish Historical and Cultural Studies supports a faculty member in the College of Arts and Sciences who pursues broad ethical, cultural, and social issues arising out of the suffering and heroism of the Holocaust.
