Center for Interdisciplinary Studies

Jewish Studies is one of twenty-six programs within the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies.

Through the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies, the College of Arts and Sciences offers students the opportunity to study in a broad range of interdisciplinary programs suited to their curricular or career objectives and also permits students to design their own independent programs of study. The Center is a resource for students who want to obtain more information about the various interdisciplinary programs at the Center as well as apply for interdisciplinary in scholarship opportunities, join our affiliated academics organizations, and participate in our innovative community partnerships.

The Center also supports and coordinates the individual programs. The Center assists the programs with brochure and website development, by scheduling new courses, hiring interdisciplinary faculty, creating linkages between the programs, developing new programs and courses, and event coordination between programs.
